I purchased some more feeders yesterday and i have just put them up, they have suet/fat balls in the one, and in the other three(1 already up) there is a mixture of wild bird seed and sunflower hearts. i hope this will attract more birds.

Gaileys and chasewater

Today i went birding with my mate jason and my grandad, it was quite good and we went further than expected. We went to gaileys first and the species we saw were buzzard, kestrel, redwing, black redstart, grey heron, grey wagtail, pied wagtail, wren. We then went to chasewater and met some of jasons twitcher friends who were looking for an iceland gull, fortunately amongst thousands of gulls we saw it.

Gulls

I keep seeing a flock of either doves or pigeons and they keep landing on the same roof

I also went birding yesterday with my good friend jason around bloxwich and sneyd, we spent most the day looking for a place called stubbers green and unfortunately didn't find it, if anyone knows where it is please comment. The species we saw were, coot, canada goose, mute swan, moorhen, blackheaded gull, sparrowhawk(male, alone), tufted duck, magpie, black bird, lesser black backed gull, woodpigeon, collared dove, starling, goldfinch, carrion crow, chaffinch, greenfinch, bullfinch, long tailed tit and robin.

I have a birdfeeder up in my garden filled with a mixture of wild bird seed and sunflower hearts and that attracts a lot of birds. Today i haven't seen many apart from the usual woodpigeons and blackbirds.
